A two-man
die shop,
grown up.

Proudly serving the manufacturing community since 1952.

Arro started as a small die shop building tooling for automotive, hardware and appliance makers around Jamestown and Buffalo. Today it is a 25,000 square foot plant that designs tooling, stamps, machines, welds and assembles parts under one roof.

Our story

Seven decades
in one corner
of New York.

The plant has grown four times since 1970. The address has not changed.

  1. 1952

A partnership and a die shop

The company was founded as a partnership. The small die shop designed and built tooling for the automotive, hardware and appliance industries in the Jamestown and Buffalo, New York areas.

  2. 1964

    Arro Tool & Die, Inc.

Arro Tool & Die incorporated and continued to supply tooling to the major industries in western New York.

  3. 1970

A new plant, and a press room

The company built a new 16,000 square foot facility on ten acres in Lakewood, New York, and added a stamping operation.

  4. 1997

    Room for more presses

The facility grew to 20,000 square feet to make space for the stamping operation and more press room equipment.

  5. 1999

    Further expansion

Another 3,000 square feet to keep up with the stamping operation.

  6. 2011

    The 600 ton press

Another 2,000 square feet to house a new 600 ton press, the largest in the plant.

  7. 2017

    Arro Manufacturing

The Bauer family acquired Arro Tool & Die, Inc. and changed the name to Arro Manufacturing to better reflect the company's direction and services.

  8. Today

    Certified and growing

An IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certified plant of 25,000 square feet, with a more diverse customer base than ever.

Same craft,
different decade.

A few photos from our 2001 shop tour and earlier websites. The machines change. The care that goes into a good die does not.
