Overview

Flat steel in. Finished parts out.

Stamping has been at the center of Arro since we added a press room to our Lakewood plant in 1970. Today the press room runs progressive and single-hit dies on presses from 15 to 600 tons.

Because our toolroom designs and builds the dies, the people who made the tool are a short walk from the press. When a part needs a change, it gets solved here instead of waiting on an outside shop. Our goal is parts that go straight into your production with no incoming inspection.

01

Progressive die stamping

Several operations in one die, one finished part per press stroke. The efficient way to make high volumes of complex parts.

02

Single-hit and secondary work

Single-hit dies and secondary operations for lower volumes, larger parts or features that need their own step.

03

Low to high volume

Prototype quantities, steady production and everything in between, scheduled around your demand.

04

Tooling under the same roof

Progressive and secondary dies are designed and built by our own tool and die makers.

05

Welded and assembled

Stamped parts can be MIG, TIG or spot welded and assembled here, so you receive a finished component.

06

Finishing handled

Heat treating, coatings and finishing are part of the service, so parts arrive ready to use.

How a job runs

Print to part,
under one roof.

One team takes your job from the first look at the print to parts on your dock.

  1. 01

    Review

Send a print, a model or a sample part. We check it for manufacturability and quote it.

  2. 02

    Engineer

Tooling and process are designed in 2D and 3D CAD, with Mastercam and Esprit for the machine work.

  3. 03

    Build the tool

Our tool and die makers build and tune the tooling in house.

  4. 04

    Run

Parts run on our equipment, then get machined, welded or assembled as the job needs.

  5. 05

    Ship

Checked against your print and shipped, ready for your production line.

Questions

Good questions,
straight answers.

Something else on your mind? Call 716-217-6800 and talk to someone who knows the shop.

What size presses do you run?
Our press room has presses ranging from 15 to 600 tons. The 600 ton press was added in 2011, along with the floor space to house it.
Do you build the dies, or do I need to supply them?
We design and build our own progressive and secondary dies. Arro started as a die shop in 1952, and tooling is still done in house. If you already own tooling, call us and we can talk about running it.
What volumes make sense for Arro?
We handle prototype parts and low to moderate-high volume production. Tell us your annual usage and release sizes and we will plan the tooling and scheduling around them.
What do you need from me to quote a stamped part?
A drawing or 3D model, the material and thickness, the quantities you expect and any finishing or assembly requirements. A sample part helps too if you have one.

Let's build it.

Drawings, models, a sample part or just an idea. Tell us what you need and our team will follow up with questions, options and a quote.
